Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Haps. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.

Haps lists underground and community events that may take place in unregulated or temporary venues. We do not organise, vet, inspect, or endorse events or venues. You attend entirely at your own risk. Always check fire exits, capacity, and local laws, and look out for your own safety. Promoters — not Haps — are responsible for their events.

• You're responsible for your account, your username, and activity under it.
• Pick a username that isn't misleading or impersonating someone else.
• Keep your login secure; tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to:

• Post illegal, hateful, harassing, violent, or sexually explicit content (our automated moderation screens text and we may remove content or accounts).
• Promote dangerous, illegal, or harmful activity.
• Spam, scam, scrape, or attempt to break or overload the service.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent an event.

Promoters set their own event details and any ticket prices. Where ticketing/payment is offered, it is between you and the promoter and may be processed by a third-party payment provider; service fees may apply. Haps is not the merchant of record for promoter events.

You keep ownership of what you post, and grant Haps a licence to display and distribute it within the app so the service can function. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.

You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Privacy → Delete Account, or the data-deletion page). We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

Haps is provided “as is” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Haps is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from events, venues, promoters, other users, or your use of the app.

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
